BIOTECanada announces the 2018 winners of the Gold Leaf Awards that annually honour innovation and entrepreneurship within the Canadian biotechnology industry. This national celebration of the Canadian industry represents an outstanding collection of companies and individuals who have helped lead the industry throughout 2018. The awards were given during Global Biotech Week which was initially started in Canada.

Global Biotech Week runs September 24 – 30, 2018 and brings together domestic and international biotechnology associations with events across 20 countries. Global Biotech Week provides an opportunity to bring together industry, government, and researchers in such a way that fosters collaboration and showcases the impact biotechnology has on economies celebrating science, innovation, and solutions.
